NetLibrary and YouTube

Yes, I'm back. I still intend to do the 23 things, but other things keep intervening.

#11 again -- I did some YouTube stuff earlier too -- aquarium photos on the sidebar. Tonight I had to find out what the whole "keyboard cat" thing is all about, since my kids can't stop laughing about it. So I looked at some of the YouTube clips of the keyboard cat -- they really are hilarious. Check out a few of them on this website. The very first link doesn't work, but the ones below it do.

#9. Then I downloaded an audiobook onto my IPod. Took quite a while, but it finally loaded. So now I can listen to The Westing Game in the car. Glad that NetLibrary has IPod compatible books now, at long last.

Open Mic Night at the Library

Last night was our first library Open Mic night. We didn't know quite what to expect. As it turned out, the program took on its own pace and energy, becoming a very comfortable, spontaneous, and creative event.
